[IRCA] TP 31 Aug Victoria version
Considerably less liveliness today, but still mostly Asia
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1313UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 4QR "6-12 ABC" by man, into fanfare and news 1259UT
747 JOIB Chuck Berry "School Days" (appropriate I guess, given this
was preceded by English lessons), seguing into NHK pips 1300UT,
something I never quite expected to hear
774 JOUB dance party in the NHK2 studios //747 at 1259UT, into pips
1053 Korean jammer 1239UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1239UT
702 2BL woman talking //612 1318UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
738 pop music 1309UT
828 JOBB Chuck Berry song //774, 747 at 1248UT; must have been a
reprise on the hour...
873 JOGB English lessons //747 1228UT
954 woman talking, Japanese inflection 1259UT, 2 and 1 pips on the
hour, maybe news by man and woman after hour?
972 man talking, sounded like Korean? 1232UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
864 1098 1242 1287 1422
best wishes,
Nick
