[IRCA] TP 24 July Victoria version
As Colin pointed out, Tahiti moved next door this morning. But, I
suspect HLAZ stopped by also.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
738 Tahiti presumed. Rock music 1129UT, then went for a romp
1214-1221UT, peaking 1218UT, carrier strength sometimes stronger than 740.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
612 man mumbling with DU English inflection 1225UT
765 man mumbling, then into music 1219UT
1566 woman talking slowly, sounded like Chinese inflection, not DU
English, 1149UT; by 1232UT there was weak pop music, so if this was
HLAZ, it didn't last until the pattern change at 1230UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
702 1098 1503
best wishes,
Nick
