[IRCA] TP 24 Apr Victoria version
The Asians mostly took a holiday today; though HLAZ went its own way
as is normal, and nobody notified the jammer on 1053.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1240UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 4QR man in DU English 1250UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1053 Korean jammer 1238UT
1116 4BC assumed, man in DU English 1237-8UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
603 R Waatea, man mumbling 1235UT //765
657 quiet female vocal, likely Star, but no parallels1249UT
675 RNZ National music, woman and man talking 1245UT, sounded DU
English and //756
702 2BL vocal pop music not //612 1253UT, but earlier //774, and
didn't sound like NHK2
738 rhythmic pop music 1226UT, likely Tahiti?
756 RNZ National, as 675 //
765 Radio Kahungunu, as 603 //
774 3LO woman talking 1249UT //702, not 612; noted ABC fanfare at 1300UT
1548 4QD? woman talking, could be DU English 1249UT; had to use
Vactrol adjustment to bring 1550 splatter to heel at least a little
bit; didn't seem //612 though
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
567 846 1242 1323 1332 1386 1476
best wishes,
Nick
