[IRCA] TP 11 Apr Victoria version
Extreme minimalism was how I was going to describe this morning, and
then move on, but then got sucked into the recording. There was
actually a fair amount of interest for about 15 minutes, but for the
most part quite weak.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no, quite weak I said
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
702 2BL man talking //612 1314UT, but by 1318UT, had increased to
this level for a brief period
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
612 4QR man and woman with news //792 1303UT, and //with a number of
others over the next few minutes
891 man in DU English, assumed 5AN 1310UT
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1301UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 NZ? woman talking, DU English inflection 1306UT, no parallels
567 JOIK man in Japanese 1315UT //594
594 JOAK man talking //567 Japanese inflection 1312UT, but moments
later 3WV joined the throng with man talking //612
756 woman talking, DU English inflection, but maybe someone else also, 1312UT
774 JOUB/3LO both Australian and NHK pips at 1300UT
792 4RN man talking 1301UT, having been completely inaudible at
1300UT, mimicking R. Free Murphy, but then 612 faded up with news for
a nice parallel
855 4QO/4QB man mumbling //612 1313UT
909 woman talking, DU English inflection 1301UT, also inaudible
1300UT, another R. Free Murphy clone.
1323 CRI chimes and fanfare heard very weakly at 1300UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
531 603 738 819 1035 1107 1116 1206 1548
best wishes,
Nick
