Re: [IRCA] Grayland, WA Ultralight DU's for 4-3

I wonder if you can rest easy, Gary and Theo (or just get more confused)?

http://www3.telus.net/public/shallpat/listen/4kz_20160220_1205.wav has 4KZ with a marine forecast before going back to the 2UE feed. Admittedly, it was only news before that, not teletalk, so I guess Gary might still have 2PM, but a marine forecast is not unknown on 4KZ apparently. (recorded Feb 20 1205UT, at Grayland Motel)

best wishes,

Nick

Then didn't someone last year finally crack the talker on 531 by tracing a telephone number to the NSW North Coast, and a business near Kempsey? So that was 2PM in Port Macquarie? I was thinking about that yesterday when you uploaded the clip of a talk show with a label of 4KZ because that marine weather (which was all I could make out) could've been from 2PM. 4KZ seems to be music, at least till midnight local (i.e. 1400 UT). Yikes, Theo, you are absolutely right-- I've probably been spending too much time freezing various parts of the body out on the Grayland beach around sunrise! Â The "talker" format with the call-in show matches 2PM, not 4KZ. ....
