[IRCA] TP 19 Mar Victoria version
Quite a lively morning, with stations from New Zealand through to
Japan at various times, with one Chinese to round things
out. Possibly a reasonble morning on the coast.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1344UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
567 RNZ National, choral music, then woman in DU English 1348UT //675
747 JOIB man in Japanese 1331UT //774
972 HLCA man in Korean at 1334UT, then peaking to this level with
slow vocal music by woman 1341UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK woman and man in Japanese 1335UT
612 4QR woman in DU English 1410UT
738 Tahiti man and woman in French 1214UT
1116 4BC likely, man talking to another man on phone , DU English 1411UT
1287 JOHR woman in Japanese 1228UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
675 RNZ National choral music creeping through //567 1348UT; heard as
late as 1406UT
828 JOBB man in Japanese //747 1338UT
873 JOGB man in Japanese 1331UT //774
954 JOKR? man talking, Japanese inflections to speech 1340UT
1044 CRI, surprise of the morning, only audible Asian at 1400UT, with
CRI chimes and fanfare in the murk
1053 Korean jammer 1343UT
1566 HLAZ likely, man talking w/Japanese inflections 1333UT, but
never amounted to much from 1230-1345UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
702 756 891 918 1134 1143 1206 1242 1332 1386
best wishes,
Nick
