Re: [IRCA] 567-RNZ Tower Bites the Dust

Do you know why the tower was destroyed Gary?

And irony of ironies, youtube presumably harvests your browsing history, so there are suggestions for other videos in which you might be interested....lots of SDR stuff in mine...but, hold on, there is something from ABS-CBN news there in Tagalog. Two mornings ago, I logged DYAB, with an ABS-CBN ID....but I didn't look anything up on the internet. Hmmm, will have to talk to the SpectraVue people about whether they are harvesting my listening preferences, hi.

Nothing about DYAB there though, just about some Filipina star being on some list of the most beautiful women in the world. Well, maybe DXing can wait...

best wishes,

Nick

It's been a bad couple of years for "Big Gun" Kiwi MW stations. After some disastrous antenna work on 531-PI last year (which reduced its signal considerably on the North American coast) the tower for the strongest Kiwi MW station last summer (567-RNZ) was intentionally destroyed today. Like 531-More FM came out of the woodwork last summer, stations like 567-4JK and 2BH may get a boost this year https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGAdjqHAMYE   73, Gary DeBock (in Puyallup, WA, USA)  _______________________________________________ IRCA mailing list IRCA@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
