[IRCA] TP 8 Dec Victoria version

Another morning where things dried up pretty much after 1400UT, though 774 managed the music box s/off with fair to good signal from 1541-1545UT, and 747 and 1116 also put in weaker appearances just before 1540UT. Stronger signals were generally earlier, sometimes, much earlier.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB 1158UT woman in Japanese peaking just before the pips on the hour, then into English lessons

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1116 4BC man in DU English talking 1401UT, wasn't nearly as strong a minute before

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

738 Tahiti likely, pop music 1345UT
747 JOIB woman in Japanese //774 1158UT
972 HLCA presumed, female vocal 1159UT, but quickly faded before the hour

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

1053 Korean jammer 1158UT
1107 woman talking, maybe DU English 1439UT
1287 woman talking, Japanese inflection 1159UT, single pip on the hour
1566 man talking, maybe Chinese 1202UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

best wishes,

Nick
