[IRCA] TP 26 Oct Victoria version
Yes, signals were there as early as 1300UT, but not that spectacular
here, and quite erratic. And just the usual suspects: 738 747 774
828 972 1053 1287 1566 over and over.
After 1400UT, a touch more variety, and 972 1287 and 1566 did stay in
until 1500UT and later.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
nope
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB 1325UT, didn't note program...
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1426UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
972 HLCA? female vocal 1415UT
1053 jammer came to its usual halt at 1402UT, but hardly there really
1287 JOHR man in Japanese 1419UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
981 man talking in surprisingly benign CKNW-980 splash 1410UT,
sounded Chinese, didn't snag a CNR1 parallel in time
1053 jammer came to its usual halt at 1402UT, but hardly there
really; didn't note down when 747 and 828 made similarly quiet appearances
1575 jingle of some sort, SE Asian? talk 1413UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1017 1098 1134 1188
best wishes,
Nick
