I do recall the RF jungle in most of the Japanese cities, save one:
 Kyoto.  When I was there, we stayed at a Japanese hotel, and it was
absolutely electrically quiet, and right in downtown Kyoto.  It's there we
spent our first night, and fighting insomnia, I DX'd the AFN Korean network
stations, which I dare say no one ever hears on this side of the pond, and
even there they were difficult catches!   73,...Walt
