[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-22 (Conclusion)

The Japanese big guns were out in force this morning as Asian propagation continued to improve, with a generous sunrise enhancement boosting up the relatively obscure Taiwan station 738-BEL2 to its best level of the new season (fair). Despite this the usual Koreans onÂ558, 603, 657Âand 972 seemed to be below average,Âwith only 1053 and 1566 having much energy from that area.ÂÂ
My session started at 1250 with the potent NHK signals described by Colin on 594, 693, 747, 774 and 828 already at serious strength in the predawn darkness, along with the 1053-Jammer and 1566-HLAZ's Japanese program. Just after 1300 the Taiwan station 738-BEL2 faded inÂat a threshold level withÂfemale-voiced Chinese news (in slight San Francisco splatter), and 1134-JOQR once again rode the Japanese propagation trend to a fair signal in Vancouver noise. Sunrise enhancement strengthened the Japanese even further, but the main action was on 738, where BEL2 started to strengthen over the dying splatter to a fair level around 1333. Chinese male and female conversation was followed by pop music at a fairly decent level at 1335, as the station reached its best level of the new season by far. The Japanese big guns on 594,Â693 and 747 finished out the session in a strong way by sticking around until 1400, by which time all the other Asians had long since bailed. Overall it was an excellent session for late September in a lean solar year, with 738-BEL2 managing its best signal sinceÂNovember.
