[IRCA] TP 9 Sep Victoria version
All DU again, plus a Tasmanian that hasn't been logged for
awhile. Oddly, 3LO-774 was mostly missing.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
612 4QR "Dan Harrison, the Melbourne Age" thundering in with a report
1341UT, decided sunrise enhancement, affecting little else.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 rhythmic pop mx 1156UT, likely Tahiti
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
567 RNZ National two women talking 1240UT DU English; earlier had
been weaker, but //675
576 2RN instrumental music 1341UT, no parallels just then, but
earlier when weaker had been //585 and 846
828 3GI two men DU English 1220UT, seemed //702, which was mixed with
music. 1300UT, pips and ABC fanfare clinched it.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
531 unID woman talking across hour 1200UT; 40 minutes later, signs of
Pacific Island vocals.
585 7RN, catch of the morning, slow music 1158UT, ABC fanfare at
1200UT, and woman and man with news. //576 and sometimes 846
594 3WV woman then man talking //612 1341UT
675 RNZ National country music 1222-23UT //567 then 756
846 2RN man talking 1207UT //576, 585
891 slow music 1152UT
963 laid back music 1219UT
1116 man talking 1208UT, seemed DU English?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
774 864 909 1035 1044 1098 1548
best wishes,
Nick
