Hello All,
Â
Asian signals soundedÂhealthy indeedÂthis morning in the first good session of the new season. Besides the NHK big guns on 594, 693, 747 and 828 there were appearances from 603-HLSA (good), 738-BEL2 (poor to fair), 972-HLCA (very good) and 1575-VOA (fair).
Â
MyÂsession started.at 1300 with the band already featuring multiple Asians in audio. 603-HLSA had fair TOH programming with a possible new time pip system, while both 594-JOAK and 1575-VOA were in and out at a fair level. 738-BEL2Ârose up to a poor to fair level at 1303 with the usual female-voiced Chinese news, while 603-HLSA hit a good level at 1307 with Korean female pop music hosted by the usual deep-voiced male. The strongest TP signal of the session took a while to get untracked, but 972-HLCA really came up in strength around 1315, temporarily hitting an S9 level in the 970 splatter. The NHK2 big guns on 693 and 747 were the best performers late on, with 747 reaching a good level (In the mystery electrical noise) around 1325. Other TP's on 1044, 1053 and 1134 (KBS) made cameo appearances during the session, but never stuck around for long.ÂOverall it was a great session for early September, and hopefully a sign of good things to come.
