[IRCA] TP 2 May Victoria version
And a nice bounce back this morning, particularly for east Asians,
pretty good for a May morning.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1287 JOHR came close....
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
972 HLCA man and woman in Korean 1215UT
1287 JOHR Nice "HBC Radyo" ID by man 1055, this was fairly readable a
number of times over the next hour or more.
1566 HLAZ organ mx, woman in Chinese 1222UT. Don't think the
Japanese program quite got up to this level, and soon faded after 1230UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1053 Korean jammer 1218UT
1116 4BC? man in DU English 1131UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 man talking, 1211UT, Japanese inflection, but quite faint
774 man talking 1146UT, Japanese inflection.
1323 heard several times, female vocal 1130UT, instrumental music
1155UT, man talking 1214UT, but didn't really sound Russian
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
738 891 1017 1035 (mess of carriers) 1134 1206 1242 1503
best wishes,
Nick
