Re: [IRCA] [NRC-AM] VOA 1530 Sao Tome logged in IL tonight

I do hear the first iteration of âY.Doodleâ about 4 sec in, but itâs louder and much more distinct (to my ears anyway) when it starts up again at :21 in. (I think there may be one of their âThis is the Voice of America, Washington, D.C., signing onâ announcements in between, which is why Yankee Doodle seems to stop and then start again 21 seconds into the clip.)

WELL DONE... this has been on my most-wanted TA list for YEARS. Never heard Vatican here either (though I did log âem on 1611 back in the mid-90s from here in southwest MO)...

Ok, I hear it not.. your audio clip is at such a low level and my headphones are cranked. I had to bring it into Cool Edit/Adobe Audition and boost it almost 15db to hear it.

Wow, that segment around 4 1/2 seconds is so faint and so easy to miss with ESPN really hitting it strong with their voiceover/liner then.

I hear it near the end of the clip, it is so incredibly easy to miss.

Yankee Doodle starts a few seconds into my clip. Then there's a few seconds of dead air from WCKY where it is more clear. Then it goes away, but comes back a bit stronger mid way thru the audio clip.

I can hear it fine from the attached clip using this computer's lousy external speaker. You may want to turn your head phone's audio up or make whatever adjustments needed for instrumental mx.

73 and pls listen again. KAZ
