[IRCA] TP 24 Apr Victoria version

Back to DU this morning; quite a few carriers with imaginary audio, and a couple more with almost listenable audio as well.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

612 4QR Heard as early as 1125UT w/woman talking, managed to deliver a weak ABC news fanfare at 1300UT, and peaked at local sunrise 1303UT w/woman reading the news. Settled down to fairly unreadable but steady audio for the next 15 minutes, then finally faded away

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1116 4BC? man in DU English, sounded like sports broadcast 1146UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

702 man talking, DU English inflection 1210UT, then woman talking, sounded like a commercial?
738 rhythmic pop mx 1310UT
837 R. New Zealand National man talking 1132UT, barely there, but seemed parallel with similarly weak 756

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

774 819 828 846 891 1017 1287 w/SAH

best wishes,

Nick
