[IRCA] TP 25 Feb Victoria version
More grubbing in the dirt to get DX, and a little bit better than
anticipated as a result. But there was no doubt that the peak was
between 1320 and 1330UT, with things pretty much dead by 1400UT.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
nope
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1053 KK jammer 1324UT
1566 HLAZ choral mx 1325UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 pop mx 1326UT
774 JOUB man in JJ briefly at 1324UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK? man talking 1320UT
828 JOBB weak pips 1300UT; man talking, JJ inflection 1317UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
612 747 891 909 972 1008
best wishes,
Nick
