[IRCA] TP 13 Feb Victoria version

Right from 1300UT, this was a different morning....a lot of erratic fading meant that some audio was missed, I'm sure, but there was a good bit of vigor in what was heard. Of course, lots of vigor in the splash and noise being heard also...

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ man in CC, best on North Flag, 1508-1522UT, still quite readable at times after 1530UT with vocal mx

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK man in JJ 1508UT, //594 and 1503, both quite a bit weaker
594 JOAK man in JJ 1511UT
774 JOUB end of EE lessons 1259UT, didn't reach these levels later
972 HLCA male vocal ballad 1357UT, fading down as woman and man talked in KK, pips on hour.

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

558 HLQH heard as early as 1316UT with ballads, but reached this strength 1510UT, sunrise boost, //603
747 JOIB end of EE lessons 1259UT, //774
1116 4BC? murky, but man in DU EE 1342UT
1287 JOHR woman in JJ 1353UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

603 HLSA ballads, deep voiced man 1510UT //558
828 JOBB man talking //747 1316UT
864 traces of vocal mx, not //1287, 1354UT, nothing on hour
1503 JOUK man in JJ //567 1508UT
1512 NHK2 man talking //747, both quite weak 1507UT; always a welcome catch
1575 VoA erratic fading, man talking, SE Asian language? 1513UT
1593 CNR1 likely, man talking, CC inflection 1514UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

612 702 738 837 1008 1053 1107 1134 1278 1323 1386 1413 1422 1467 1476 1557 1602

best wishes,

Nick
