[IRCA] TP 31 Jan Victoria version
Sunrise enhancement was pretty minimal, with possibly HLAZ making a
little noise, but a couple of DU's brightened things up earlier,
and maybe one lonely Asian .
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no...
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
....and, no
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 likely Tahiti. Rock mx noted at this level 1329 and 1435UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
774 3LO? vocal country mx at 1329UT sure didn't sound like NHK2,
more likely Saturday Night Country from ABC
972 HLCA?? man talking 1416UT, really too weak to guess at language;
at 1421UT came back for a bit, with a woman murmuring agreement to
said man, which does sound a bit like Korea
1566 woman talking 1525-9UT, but again too weak for a language guess.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
702 828 837 855 891 1008
best wishes,
Nick
