[IRCA] 1240 KODY from AZ last night

(6-foot tuned loop + 23-foot tuned vertical + Quantum Phaser)

I've been logging some fairly nearby stations with my new phased setup this
month, but nothing too exciting. However, last night, with my loop set up
indoors I was doing a bit of graveyarding. Although the low density of
stations out here means that the channels are less crowded, it also means
that there are fewer targets. 1240 is an odd frequency for me. There's
only one station within 200 miles (KJAA "Jukebox 1240") and only around 30
out to 750 miles. I had only picked up KJAA and also KFBC Cheyenne WY at
617 miles multiple times since August.

At 9:22pm (0422UT on the 30th), I heard "NewsTalk 12-40, K-?-?-Y", which is
pretty generic. But, later with some audio processing, this turned out to
be "..coverage of the Nebraska Cornhuskers on NewsTalk 12-40, K-O-D-Y,
North Platte". A 785-mile graveyarder, I'll take that any night! Not long
after, I heard an ad for a business in Durango, so that was almost
certainly KDGO, but it didn't stick around long enough to get enough to log
it.
