[IRCA] Mostly Mexican MW DX to Enid OK, November 28-December 4, 2014

--- Begin Message ---
These logs are excerpts from my daily all-band reports, mainly SWBC, also VHF/UHF, sometimes utility, ham, which may be found in several archives without much delay, such as
http://www.hard-core-dx.com/index.php?topic=Hauser

And compiled weekly along with extensive news from many other individuals and publications in DX LISTENING DIGEST:
http://www.worldofradio.com/dxldmid.html

All my MW DX reports starting August 2011 are archived in this forum with open access:
http://forums.wtfda.org/showthread.php?6543-MW-DX-from-Enid-OK-by-Glenn-Hauser/page28

All times and dates strictly UT. Rx: mostly DX-398 or PL-880 with internal antenna only; Nissan stock caradio as specified; FRG-7 with E-W longwire as specified

** MEXICO. 1030, Dec 4 at 1256, looping roughly east-west, full ID for Radio Fórmula, XERFR, 970 in México DF, i.e. flagship of far-flung network in the US of M and the US of A --- at first I wonder if it could be the 50 kW SS in Memphis TN, but it`s still supposedly its own Radio Ambiente. No, it must be the only real XE Fórmula affiliate on 1030, per Cantú:
``1030 XEYC Radio Fórmula Cd. Juárez, Chih. 5000 500``
IRCA Mexican Log agrees except power as 1000/1000. WRTH 2014 went with 5000/500 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 1510, Nov 29 at 0132 on caradio, dominant signal is Spanish, news headlines mentioning ``estado de Nuevo León`` which is more evidence it`s Monterrey`s XEQI, lacking a real ID. M&W continue conversing. This on vertical car antenna not direxional, with no nulling capability, yet this is atop WLAC, but losing out to it by 0135 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO [non]. 2910.0, Nov 28 at 0219 when the noise level is rarely lower, I strain to rehear the third harmonic of XEVT, 970, Villahermosa, Tabasco. Something is here, but it turns out to be mixture of local overload 1390 KCRC and something else, right on frequency, while XEVT x 3 was slightly off. Getting this only on the DX-398, not the PL-880, which is a bad sign. Better time to get XEVT would be pre-sunrise on the FRG-7 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) I include this non-long to encourage others to try for it on 2910
