FWIW, I logged KAZA from 544 miles away on Thursday night (20th) just after
9pm local time (4UT), or 8pm for them. (Many mentions of San Jose and
finally the call letters in English.) This was with semi-local KCUB nulled
out, although the transmitters are 140 degrees apart for me. I just went
there now, and I seem to be getting them although with a lot of major
fading between it and KCUB (10:43pm MST/0543 UT). Right now I'm basing the
ID on the ethnic music. Other than KCUB, 1290 is a rather clean frequency
for me.
