[IRCA] TP 1 Nov Victoria version
I'm pleased to hear that DX is making it inland. It was only heard
here with serious digging, and mostly Aussie. There seemed to be
some action 1230 to 1330UT, though only on the regular channels, and
I wasn't actually recording then.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 3LO woman mentioning "Saturday Night Country" after female
country vocal 1428UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1425UT, for the sole Asian, at least nearer sunrise
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti? pop mx 1417UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
576 ? man talking, sounded EE? 1425UT, woman talking at 1430UT
612 4QR ABC news fanfare crept through 1400UT
702 2BL country vocal //774 1426UT
828 3GI female country vocal //774 1426UT
1575 woman talking, maybe SE Asian? 1444UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
855 864 891 981 1116 1251 1323
best wishes,
Nick
