[IRCA] TP 31 Oct Victoria version

I won't attempt to emulate Gary's Halloween report: the undisputed master. Wait until we have good conditions, hi.

The morning was rather grim generally, wasn't it?

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

no..a deathly hush (whoops, it's started)

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK believe it or not, rose up out of the murk (gosh, these metaphors keep coming) for about a minute, man in JJ 1447UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

738 Tahiti pop mx 1258UT, woman in FF after the hour
828 JOBB man in JJ 1407UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

747 JOIB? man talking 1301UT, seemed like EE lessons
774 JOUB? woman in JJ? 1452UT
819 woman talking, sounded more DU EE than KK; its carrier was close to nominal frequency also 954 man talking 1445UT, could have been JOKR as 594 was in at this time, though not much else
972 HLCA man talking 1300UT, following pips

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

best wishes,

Nick
