The signal strength recorder said there was a high band enhancement 
for a few minutes around 1300UT.   The SDR however had decided not to 
record that late, and I wasn't around to kick it back into 
life.  Except for that brief period, it was a lacklustre morning.

at least briefly):

guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in 
talk or music) :

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or 
ravaged by splatter):
