Just as at the coast....this was not a great morning....hard
listening yielded the following.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1566 HLAZ man in JJ 1246UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB. Man in JJ 1131UT
972 HLCA. woman in KK 1301UT (mind you, I heard a woman talking
faintly on this channel as late as 1442UT also..)
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
747 JOIB. Sounded like language lessons, similar heard earlier on 774, 1227UT
1287 JOHR? Man talking, perhaps JJ, 1216UT; woman noted 1240UT also
1323 CRI? few notes of mx, man talking, too much splash for language 1240UT
1575 VoA? Man talking 1257UT; maybe "V-O-A" mention on the hour.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
828 864 981 1053
best wishes,
Nick
