I hate to say this, given what the Rockworks guys were (not) hearing,
but it was actually a pretty fair morning here for Asiatics at this
time of year, though some of the "DX" was noted before 1300UT. I'll
keep the files from 1300-1330UT for awhile, in case any comparisons
need to be made.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB. EE lesson theme mx 1259UT, faded across hour, but back
w/more EE lessons after the hour, quite readable. No more weather
reports after 1300UT I guess.
1566 HLAZ. Man in JJ 1331UT, but also heard woman in JJ at reasonable
strength several times between 1300 and 1330UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
972 HLCA. Woman in KK 1309UT, after instrumental mx
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK. Man in JJ 1218UT
747 JOIB. Man talking, //774, 1147UT
828 JOBB. Man talking //774 1149UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 JOIK. Two men talking //594, 1243UT.
1017 CRI? Woman talking 1313, couple of words sure sounded KK to me,
though mostly not good enough for any language ID.
1053 KK jammer. 1148UT
1287 JOHR? Man in possible JJ, into a jingle, woman singing, then
talking, 1153UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
603 702 738 747 756 837 864 891 945 1008 1098 1206 1323 1503 1557
best wishes,
Nick
