[IRCA] TP DX in Seattle on March 20



Another somewhat OK but unspectacular morning. A couple of stations, including JOBB-828 and Yanbian-1206, were better than normal. The others were average at best. There was a very brief but noticeable enhancement at about 1350.

GOOD
774 JOUB, wrapping up English lesson 1259, 3+1 pips 1300, then weather report
828    JOBB, unusually good with weather report //774 1306
1566 HLAZ, woman in Japanese mentioning FEBC 1312, briefly good at this time and a coupe of others. Fair-nil otherwise

FAIR
670    KDLG, 1300 piano music, ID & BBC news under KBOI
693    JOAB, 1300 3+1 pips, then weather report
747    JOIB, Chinese lesson 1339
963    CRI, Russian talk 1353
972    HLCA, woman in Korean 1350, then dreamy sounding song
981 CNR1, 1339 Chinese woman,sounded like she was anchoring a news program with stories from reporters 1134 Energetic pop song 1354 faded up briefly, unintelligible talk before and after
1206    Yanbian, 1249 Korean talk on 1205.96
1593 NHK2/CNR1, 1353 Japanese and Chinese talk getting pounded by KLFE-1593, the Chinese part sounded like CNR and not the NHK Chinese lesson

1575    VOA, woman in SEA language 1351
1602 NHK2, 1400 3+1 pips, talk possibly before and after but computer birdie on 1603.9 made it impossible to tell
