[IRCA] TP 15 Feb, Victoria version

Not a stellar morning, and not helped by a recording failure from 1410-1509UT, but the signal strength monitor says that (maybe) I missed something on 1503. Not many audios, and those that occurred eventually got strong enough to ID, but there really weren't many overall. Things pretty much fell off a cliff by 1520UT.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 HLAZ presumed, choral mx 1517UT, best on north Flag

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK woman in JJ 1512UT
612 4QR presumed; Van Morrison song, announced at end by man in DU EE 1514UT
774 JOUB pips 1300UT and into wx report
1593 CNR1 man in CC 1514UT, seemed //6175 at 1515UT, but was fading pretty quickly

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

603 HLSA? light pop mx 1511UT
972 HLCA? man and woman, maybe KK, 1307UT
1116 4BC? man talking DU EE inflection 1355UT
1575 VoA? man talking SE Asian language? but almost like a preacher 1519UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

558 702 738 855 891 1098 1188 1503

best wishes,

Nick
