[IRCA] Excellent conditions this morning for TPs

This morning was the first morning for excellent TP conditions from
Massett. I arrived on 26 December and will be here until 3 January.  The
other mornings have been rather poor. There has been no TA activity
whatsoever.  This morning however was fabulous towards especially Japan.
Many 100 W stations were heard. 1575 AFM Japan was booming in for many
hours after local sunrise.  I could hear clearly two AFN stations but not
the third. I'm not sure where they come from. One plays Galixie all music
while the other plays network sports and news programming.

I was still hearing them at 11 to 11:30 AM local time several hours after
local sunrise.  I also heard several Russian longwave stations on 153,
189, the rarely heard 171 and 279. I wonder whether these will continue
after the end of the month.  Especially quiet conditions at the cottage
makes this all a lot of fun.  Full report to follow by next weekend.  73,
