Les,
Back when I used the SDR-IQ, I used a scripting program called AutoHotKey
to automate TOH recordings. I wrote a description of the process in my blog
back then:
http://dx-nexus.blogspot.com/2007/07/scheduled-recordings-with-spectravue.html
It works by doing the keypress that starts the recording in Spectravue,
sleeps for a predetermined period of time, then presses the stop key. You
use the Windows Scheduler to run that script at whatever time you wanted
the recording made. If you're interested I could point you in the right
direction to set it up.
