I was beginning to think of giving up, but stayed on the dials for a bit longer,

I have an old radio with analog dial and I logged one station somewhere in the 1200's and after 930PM, it sounded like a gospel program and mentions of towns like Oakville and Brampton. What station is this? Power/pattern? (Disclaimer: I know near zilch about Canadian radio stations).


Around 9:52, in the 1200's on the dial,  I heard a weather forecast with an "Oldies 102.9" jingle and mentions of a winter storm warning with snowfall totals. I assume this to be WGL-AM Fort Wayne, IN.

At 10:05, I'm near the end of the 1200's and I hear an ad for a few businesses... and heard a web address ending in .ca then I hear an ad for Dove Dental and a 516 area code phone number. It turns out this is 1290 CJBK London, Ontario with London Knights & Guelph Storm Hockey.


WGL-AM and CJBK-AM would be new logs for me.  WGL is definately a good catch, never heard CJBK before.. but I'm in Northwest PA.. so while not extra ordinary of a catch, it's good to me ;)
