There may be hints of a carrier on 1215 this evening (hints only),
but as Bruce reported, this morning was pretty ghastly. Very few
carriers even, though the few that were there each delivered a moment
or two of audio.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not even remotely
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
good grief no
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
still asking a bit much
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
738 Tahiti likely, woman and man talking FF inflection, 1411-12UT,
and into pop mx
1116 likely 4BC with man talking, DU EE inflection 1354-56UT
1314 unID. female pop mx vocal 1536UT
1566 HLAZ possible 1544UT man talking, too low level to guess at language
1593 CNR1 woman talking then man //6125 1542UT, same time a
yesterday, but even poorer I think
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
1287
best wishes,
Nick
