[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 11-4

Hello All,

It was another excellent morning here for low-band Asians, with both the big gun TP's and some second-tier Chinese and Korean stations producing potent audio late in the session. Once again the band was in a vibrant state starting right at 1300, with 738-BEL2 again managing fair to good audio with the usual call-in talk program over an UnID Chinese mainland station. The NHK big guns on 594, 747, 774 and 828 were in and out with very good audio early in the session, along with the usual Korean powerhouse 972-HLCA. The high band in general was off in strength this morning, however, and the 1053-Jammer, 1134-KBS, 1287-JOHR and 1566-HLAZ were not up to their usual strong levels. The only somewhat interesting signals above 1000 kHz were the two CRI stations on 1017 and 1044, both of which managed fair to good audio during brief periods from 1345-1415.

There was another potent late-session propagation boost for the low-band Asian mainland stations, but in contrast to yesterday, it was 603-HLSA that received the boost around 1443, and not 603-China (which never came close to yesterday's signal). 639-CNR1 was again boosted up dramatically around 1433, and 648-VOR (presumed) also had its Korean service signals enhanced up to a fair level at 1432. 738-BEL2 once again rode the same propagation wave, managing good Chinese female conversation at 1445 (// to a ghostly 1143), and like yesterday, 657-Pyongyang's ancient music was once again amplified to an irritating level around 1337. I was hoping for more Chinese station variety during this late session propagation boost, and a search was made once again on other frequencies like 621, 729, 756, 792, 918, 927, 936, 945 and 981, none of which were particularly vibrant. It's a mystery why the 639-CNR1 synchros seem to be the only Chinese mainland stations boosted up to weird levels !
this way, although 657-Pyongyang and 738-BEL2 certainly seem to share in the same low-band propagation bonanza.
