Colin's report pretty much said it all, though I had no sign of
603. The following is the result of some digging over a couple of
hours of recordings; slim pickings indeed.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
snort of derision
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
believe it or not, 972 HLCA two men in KK 1427UT, briefly. Only
audio on the band too.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
594 JOAK man in JJ 1447UT, briefly
738 Tahiti, un homme en francais 1324UT. Briefly; only audio on the band.
774 JOUB man in JJ 1440UT, briefly
828 JOBB man in JJ 1351UT (can you say it together now?)...briefly
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
567 JOIK likely woman talking JJ inflection 1406UT
747 JOIB likely man talking JJ inflection 1443UT (briefly of course)
1053 KK jammer 1401UT
1566 HLAZ likely, man talking , CC inflection 1438UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
891 945 1044 1323
best wishes,
Nick
