The morning of HLAZ? They were quite good even before the pattern
change, with quite "readable" CC talk at 1219UT, and generally some
audio from 1144UT onwards if weak. Not much else in audio though.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ the pattern change was strong, full ID fading up into What
a Friend I Have in Jesus on piano, and the usual "kombon wa" from the
JJ lady. Continued at various strengths until nearly 1300UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti woman in FF 1152UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
1575 VoA? woman in oriental language, sounded CC 1202UT, of course,
inaudible on the hour. (couldn't find a listing for 1575 between 1200-1230UT)
1701 man talking 1252UT, didn't seem DU EE
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
567 603 756 774 828 1116 1278 1296 1314 1332 1467 1503 1539 1548

best wishes,
Nick
