I emailed this message to the Tecsun URL this morning:

Based upon a very favorable review of the Tecsun PL-310 at a radio hobby club gathering in Minneapolis, I ordered the radio from Amazon.com. It arrived today, and at first tuning it appears to be as good as the review ... but there was one problem -- the little manual was all in Japanese! (As was the package.) 

Would you please send a manual written in the English language to John Callarman, 301 W. McCart St., Krum TX 76249-5539? Or, if the text is available in a Word document, via email to JohnCallarman@xxxxxxxx
