[IRCA] Fwd: [mwcircle] Fwd AOR HF7070 article

via MW Circle. If receiver design is of interest to you, this will definitely perk up your antenna (so to speak)...

best wishes,

Nick

The AR7030 was in production from 1996 to 2007. John Thorpe, the designer, started to design a replacement,
which became known as the HF7070. The development team was later expanded.
There is an article about the HF7070 by Colin Horrabin, G3SBI, in the July/August 2013 issue of QEX. You can find it online at: <http://www.arrl.org/files/file/QEX_Next_Issue/Jul-Aug_2013/QEX_7_13_Horrabin.pdf>http://www.arrl.org/files/file/QEX_Next_Issue/Jul-Aug_2013/QEX_7_13_Horrabin.pdf It is very interesting. Sadly, it also says that the HF7070 is unlikely to go into production.

vaiheessa sellaiseksi, että sen oli käytännössä mahdoton onnistua ja toimia aiotulla tavalla. Vastaanotinvalmistajia siis tuskin käy syyttäminen.
