So true, KAZ! Unfortunately you won't be able to fit your usual antenna(s)
of choice on the Cape Perpetua cliff when you join us in July :^)
It would be very interesting though to compare a FSL when DXing at the
cliff to a small single turn car-top loop like Mark Connelly's "Super
Micro
Loop". To my knowledge, the West Coast DXers I know have never tried
something like that. I've never seen one on our DXpeditions anyway. We
usually have room for at least a phased array of ALA100 deltas or Flags.

WOW !! shocking difference between even the 12" FSL and the ALA100. If
anyone wonders why I use large outside antennas, this is why. I've seen
similar differences between the Phased BOG System and Kiwa Loop for TA's
in
Grafton WI. ie TA's audible on about 40 channels (some with more than 1)
on
the PBS, but audible on less than 10 channels on the Kiwa and only those
that were armchair on the PBS like France 1206 were audible at all on the
Kiwa.
