Not quite bad to worse...some DU carrier evidence including some
X-band, and a brief fling from JOUB-774.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
definitely not today
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB woman with EE lessons going on about some flowers she had
received at 1222UT. This came out of nowhere, peaked, hung around
briefly at a lower level, then disappeared. No other Asiatic
evidence this morning, at any level.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti woman in FF 1229UT, like yesterday, generally mildly
audible until after 1300UT, by far the most consistent station this morning.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
567 unID, likely NZ? Excitable man DU EE inflection 1240UT; would
have been somewhat readable except for 570 splat
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
756 819 891 w/SAH 1098 1611 (multiple carriers somewhat off channel)
1629 (rough carrier) 1656
best wishes,
Nick
