[IRCA] TP 21 Apr; Victoria version

Neil's westerly conditions continued a little further west. Nothing spectacular, but to hear even the regular Asiatics, a couple at good strength, when May is in view, is mildly spectacular in itself.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

774 JOUB woman in JJ 1237UT
828 JOBB woman in JJ 1253UT, only NHK2 at the time

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

972 HLCA man in KK 1238UT
1287 JOHR man in JJ 1233UT, still getting up to this level at 1255UT, one of the most consistent and long lasting stations today. 1566 HLAZ this one took until 1303UT to deliver reasonable strength, and only for a short time; man in JJ

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK man in JJ 1239UT
954 JOKR man in JJ 1236UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

567 unID. man talking 1244UT but didn't sound //594
891 JOHK woman in JJ //594 1239UT
1053 KK jammer 1233UT
1179 unID; JOOR? man and woman talking, JJ inflection 1238UT

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

675 837 1008 1242 1269 1323 1422 1503

best wishes,

Nick
