Thanks, Sheldon. I haven't heard 1410 yet from Burnt River ON, but the old Montreal 1410 was also not easy - for whatever reason. It will be interesting to be rid of 1610 Montreal because that leaves just CHHA Toronto to null, and I guess to some extent Caribbean Beacon in Anguilla..

CJWI, known as CPAM Radio, is still broadcasting on 1610 kHz.

They continue to do testing on their new frequency of 1410 kHz, but only with a short musical piece followed by a recorded announcement about the test and contact info for problems of interference, all in the French language.

I wonder if the Montreal station has moved off 1610 permanently for 1410 after the usual three month grace period. Perhaps Montreal mixing in with Toronto (and whatever else is on 1610) has created a bit of a jumble for you out west? Someone in or close to Montreal will know for sure (re Montreal) - I am in Toronto so cannot get behind CHHA which has its xmtr one mile away from my home. Regardless, nice to see you hearing it from Oregon!
