[IRCA] TP 6 Apr; Victoria version

Although still mostly Asiatic, this morning was decidedly spotty, with the big guns popping up and down and not generally doing very well. I listened from 1315UT onwards, but the DX Fishbarrel recording shows that things were generally not much better earlier, barring some mysterious strength on 1323kHz

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

594 JOAK briefly peaking with a group of men and women talking and laughing in JJ, 1323UT

reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

the above, passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB woman talking //828 at 1322UT
1053 KK jammer 1324UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

612 4QR man talking, DU EE inflection? 1326UT
738 man talking 1324UT, splatter made a guess at language pretty vague, possibly FF
774 vocal pop mx fighting w/JOUB 1329UT, but no possible parallels found
828 JOBB woman talking //774 1322UT
972 HLCA? instrumentat mx 1323UT
1323 rock mx faded up briefly at 1338UT, no idea who that might be; pretty late for Asia, and everything else had pretty much gone.
1566 woman talking 1332UT, first audio from this today, presumed HLAZ

Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

891 1098 1476 1575

best wishes,

Nick
