Re: [IRCA] WKBI 1400 PA DX TEST - Did it Run?

Hi, Dave--
I do not doubt that this test went off until I hear different. Any GY DX test is a crap shoot because of all the sources of QRM, especially music which masks tones. I think it also depends on conditions. I have only been successful in hearing three GY tests in the past 20 years-- Brookneal, Seymour and KXXY 1340 Oklahoma City back in 1993. All three were widely heard.

Tuned in from 0158-0210 and I did not hear anything resembling sweep tones
or CW ID's. Did it run? The Brookneal, VA GY DX Test was very loud and I
had success with the Seymour, TX GY DX Test, so why not this one? Anyone?

Thanks,
