Hi, all, I was driving in Annapolis MD today and had a unidentified station on 1710, playing nothing but Spanish ballads. No announcements as I lost the signal by the time I had crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, driving unto the Eastern Shore of Maryland, so I would assume it is relatively low power. Anything additional on this from anyone? John Cereghin WDX3IAO Smyrna DE
Hi John,I've logged that SS station on 1710 at night here in Hendersonville, NC, in the mountains south of Asheville. My loop peaks the signal in the vicinity of the Chesapeake Bay to my northeast and I've wondered where this station was located. No IDs, mostly music, but some SS male announcing. From my monitoring they seem to be on a sporadic schedule. They are not very strong but since there is no interference on 1710, they are audible. I haven't logged the Lubavitcher station on 1710 here in quite some time. Perhaps they are no longer on the air.
