Definitely a lively morning as others have mentioned; the erratic fades up on
many channels made things interesting, even when I started listening for "just a
couple of minutes" at 1415UT, but it was sort of difficult to find a spot where
things had calmed down previous to sunrise, in order to get breakfast. Probably
should have listened straight through according to Walt's comments and to the
level of activity when I returned at 1510UT.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):
774 JOUB perfectly readable EE lessons in spite of splatter 1524UT; still pretty
good after 1530UT (local sunrise 1525UT)
828 JOBB man in JJ 1418UT
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1419UT, but similar level at 1508UT
reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a
native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
702 JOKD/JOFB EE lessons //774 1421UT, rough carrier
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be
understood by a native speaker:
567 JOIK man in JJ //594 1512UT
594 JOAK woman in JJ 1426UT
603 HLSA presumed light instrumental mx, //558 earlier w/similar programming 1525UT
747 JOIB //774 at 1418UT and 1534UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1419UT
1278 man talking, pretty sure it was JJ, at 1509UT, so JOFR? Believe that would
be new here.
1377 robust female pop vocal, not //774 or 6125, so a mystery
1593 CNR1 man talking //6125 at 1527UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by
cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :
558 HLQH male vocal mx //603 1429UT
873 JOGB man talking //828 1425UT
891 JOHK man and woman in JJ //594 1426UT
954 weak talk by man and woman 1530UT. JOKR?
1242 man talking 1533UT, big carrier and hung in for some time after the half
hour. likely JOLF?
1287 JOHR? woman w/JJ inflected talk 1422UT
1314 unID. echoey talk my man, as if in a large building, a sermon by the
cadence? Tagalog maybe? 1519UT
1386 NHK2 synchros, woman talking //774 at 1514UT
1422 woman and man talking deep in the murk; big carrier, but splash too much.
1512UT
1467 instrumental mx not //774, so who? 1520UT
1575 man talking 1519UT
Strongish het, no audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):
864 1053 1161 1305 1359
best wishes,
Nick
