A quick scan of the long wave - medium wave band this evening. Not quite sunset in Northern Japan, but 2 Alaskan weather forecast stations and Radio Rossii on 279 were heard.
209 ALASKA, Yakataga, CYT 0643-0646 weak signal with weather forecast. NW ewe. 01/09/2013
279 RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 0647 fair signal with man in Russian. NW ewe. 01/09/2013
394 ALASKA, Kodiak KAK20 00648 fair signal with weather forecast. Beacon Morse code mixing with audio. NW ewe. 01/09/2013
963 Level 4 carrier. Assuming TA Finland?
