Listen from 1140-1542 utc. 4 Russian long waves heard this morning. 2 less MW TP's heard this morning than yesterday morning. Much better than a year ago to date when only 4 TP's were heard. (Listed below on bottom of page) 1539 utc HLAZ 1566 in with a good signal.  Enter these coordinates 14° 24' 22"N, 100° 46' 48"E on Google earth and view the VOA site in Thailand just 46 miles North Bangkok.  Three towers in a triangle layout. 

153    RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1140--1412 weak rising to fair signal with man in Russian. A lot of atmospheric noise.  HPAW. 12/11/2012


180    RUSSIA, Yelizovo, Radio Rossii 1457 very weak signal with talk. On latter than usual? HPAW. 12/11/2012

189    RUSSIA, Petropavlovsk, Radio Rossii 1413 fair signal with man in Russian. HPAW. Atmospheric noise. 121/11/2012


279    RUSSIA, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Radio Rossii 1415 very  signal with  man in Russian.  Much less atmospheric noise on this channel. . HPAW 12/11/2012


567    JAPAN, Sapporo, JOIK NHK1 1505 very weak signal with man in Japanese. Moderate splatter from KVI. W-SW ewe. 12/11/2012 

594    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1509 poor signal with man in Japanese and piano music. NW ewe. 12/11/2012

693    JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAB NHK2 1419 weak signal with man in Japanese. Moderate splatter. NW ewe. 12/11/2012


738     TAHITI, Papeete, Radio Polynesie 1437 in & out weak signal with man in French. Moderate splatter from 750. W-SW ewe. 12/11/2012

774    JAPAN, Akita, JOUB NHK2 1420 weak signal with woman in Japanese. Moderate splatter.  NW ewe. 12/11/2012


828    JAPAN, Osaka, JOBB NHK 2 1427 weak signal with moderate splatter. Woman in Japanese. Sounds like English Radio Conversation Program.  NW ewe. 121/11/2012

1575    THAILAND, VOA 1453 fair signal with man in Asian language.
1593    CHINA, CRNI 1452 fair signal at times with woman in Chinese and splatter.
