Colin (and Nick, Nigel and All):

Your torches would have come in handy on the Cliff, Colin! The first early morning (Saturday) had subfreezing cold, mixed with an awful mist from the ocean below. The second (Sunday) had gale force winds, with enough force to shake the 16-pound (7.3 kg) FSL around like a leaf. The last day (Monday) had thunderous rain mixed with stiff winds, taking out the FSL, ICF-2010, PL-380 and C.Crane SWP Slider backup Ultralight. If the villagers (and DXer) had any good sense, they would have stayed under cover.

73, Gary

Whoops, I did it again.

I was up well before sunrise, swinging my DeBock
FSL-5000 around in circles.

So let's be clear on this:

When I stay in bed, the band rocks.
When I get up and grab the Debock FSL-5000 antenna,
the radio dial tanks entirely.
