I recorded the band today from 1228 to 1440 UTC. Conditions were the
best of the past several days.
There were two distinct openings. Most of the band peaked around 1315
and died off soon after that. However, the upper part of the dial
didn't show much life until after 1400, when several carriers made
their first appearances of the morning. Some of them produced audio.
The more noteworthy of those carriers were on 1404 1413 1431 1422 1494
1503 1512 1557 1566 1575 1593 and 1602.
Oddly enough, there was a carrier on 1476 (presumably China) that
peaked at about 1320 but wasn't heard during the later opening. A
couple of signals (1557 1566 1575) took part in both enhancements.
